The annual Soap Box Derby is held on the Saturday of the Fathers' Day weekend and is always a great opportunity for quality family time. A soap box construction clinic and a brake and steering clinic are held earlier in the year in preparation for this exciting event.

Hosted by the Didsbury Radio Control Fun Flyers, the Canada Day Fun Fly is a popular Didsbury event held at the Didsbury Radio Control Fun Flyers Air Field. Self-contained camping is allowed on-site and there will be campfires and a food concession as well as radio controlled aircraft galore.

To commemorate the anniversary of Terry’s Marathon of Hope, every school in Canada is invited to participate in the Terry Fox National School Run Day. This event will be held simultaneously at schools large and small from coast-to-coast. With millions of schools participating, this could one of the largest single-day events in Canadian history and will allow our youth to show all of Canada the power they have to help others.
