The annual Soap Box Derby is held on the Saturday of the Fathers' Day weekend and is always a great opportunity for quality family time. A soap box construction clinic and a brake and steering clinic are held earlier in the year in preparation for this exciting event.

This annual event takes place in August at the Didsbury Exhibition Grounds. Activities at this family friendly event include breakfasts, a midway, concessions, kids corral, parade, beer gardens, live music and of course the rodeo!

To commemorate the anniversary of Terry’s Marathon of Hope, every school in Canada is invited to participate in the Terry Fox National School Run Day. This event will be held simultaneously at schools large and small from coast-to-coast. With millions of schools participating, this could one of the largest single-day events in Canadian history and will allow our youth to show all of Canada the power they have to help others.
