The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village
is a unique outdoor living museum that tells the story of Ukrainian immigrants and their settlement history in central Alberta from 1892 to the 1930s. Costumed role players recreate the lives of authentic pioneers and 35 relocated and restored buildings bring history to life. The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village opens for the 2017 summer season on Saturday, May 20.
Located only 25 minutes east of Edmonton along Highway 16 on the east side of Elk Island National Park.
