The PortHole Gallery is used to display small 3D pieces while The Four Corners Gallery displays 2D works on paper. The main floor of the library is used for larger group shows and the AFA travelling shows. Mon to Thurs 7:45 am - 10 pm, Fri 7:45 am to 6 pm, Sat 9 am - 6 pm, Sun noon - 10 pm (Regular library hours -- check reduced hours May - August).

The permanent gallery honours the history of the Red Deer region, with a special emphasis on First Nations People, immigrant settlers, rural life and the birth of a city.
