    Peter Fidler Statue
    This statue, named after Peter Fidler, a Hudson Bay fur trader and surveyor, commemorates the bi-centennial of Elk Point in 1992 and the history of fur trading posts in the region. The wooden chainsaw-carved statue measures 9.8 m (32 ft) tall and is located at the north end of Elk Point on Highway 41.

    Blue Heron

    Paddy the Beaver
    Castor is the French word for beaver and it is fitting that the town's mascot is Paddy the Beaver. This 1.5 m (5 foot) tall statue is located by the post office and stands in front of a mural.

    Angus Shaw - Fur Trader Statue
    This hand-carved wooden statue represents Angus Shaw, a Scottish fur trader who came to the area in the 1700s. It measures 7 m (23 feet) tall and is located at the Bonnyville Pioneer Museum.

    World's Largest Border Markers
    Located at City Hall on the intersection of Highway 16 and 17, Lloydminster features the world's largest border markers! The provincial boundry and fourth meridian marks the border on 100 ft. high giant survey markers representing four themes: Oil and Gas, the Barr Colonists, Agriculture and Native North Americans.

    Centennial Park
    One of the town's most popular gathering spots, Ponoka's Centennial Park has a large green space for picnics and games, as well as a mini-golf pitch to compete against family and friends.     Ribstones
    Quartzite boulders carried from the Canadian Shield by glaciers. Carved by Cree Indians and arranged in a rib pattern, the rocks are thought to have been used in fertility rites for the buffalo. Free.
