A short detour 28 km (16.8 mi) west of Hwy 41 on Hwy 28 leads to St. Paul, originated as the colony of Saint-Paul-des-Metis, founded by Father Lacombe in 1896. The town is home to the world’s only known official UFO Landing Pad. The 12 m (39 ft) platform, a 1967 Centennial project, conceals a time capsule to be opened in 2067.
