The museum is located in an historic building on Main Street, and showcases artifacts interpreting the history and settlement of people in the Wetaskiwin and surrounding area. Open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 5pm and on Saturday from 10am to 4pm, with extended hours in June, July and August.
Wetaskiwin visitors can celebrate the “Spirit of the Machine” at the Reynold Alberta Museum. The museum features an outstanding collection of vintage vehicles, aircraft, tractors and industrial machines that pay tribute to mechanical genius. Display galleries, museum-quality restoration and special events all available, as well as Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame.
Situated adjacent to the Reynolds-Alberta Museum, this National hall of fame honors over 150 aviation inductees through an array of exhibits, displays and other collections, including numerous full-sized airplanes from the past to present.
